Review by Jonathan Massard
Tasted as a sample. Great concept from a Bordeaux wine merchant who offers different bottles in self-service 70cl flasks. 👃 First nose rather backward, dried fruits as on an old Ugni Blanc, white-fleshed fruits, light fruit tree flowers. Then vanilla cream, caramel, honey and citrus (tangerine, orange). Round and sweet. The addition of sugar is noticeable, which is a pity. 😋 Rather disappointing first taste, light vanilla, dried fruit, roasted white fruit. Then, after letting the glass air out, we find some of the TDL characteristics. Peach iced tea drink with fresh mint. Nice. Well-integrated alcohol. ⛳ Quite short. Spices, light mint, peach, some light cassis. Not the dram of the century but easy to drink. I don't understand the finish in Hungarian sweet white wine barrels. Certainly to smooth things out.

Nice but not crazy, a touch of acidity that goes well with the classic TDL notes of blackcurrant and menthol (quite light here). Tasty and pleasant.
