A nice surprise with a lot of smoke on the nose and barely any smoke on the palate. The barrel is there from nose to finish. Pretty well balanced. The price is pretty high for such a young rum.

Definitely a standout rum but for further testing. The first time it was preceded by other rums and that influenced the high positive rating. The second time it didn’t taste as good due to the characteristic aftertaste of wet tobacco... Rum for retesting.
