Longueteau Sélection Parcellaire No. 12 Canne Rouge 2018
Fresh-cut sugarcane, lime and a lick of black pepper — this unaged Guadeloupe agricole from a single plot of red cane leans green and floral, with mint and citrus lingering in the empty glass. At 55% it drinks softer than the number suggests. A few tasters find the pepper and lemon-zest bitterness a touch loud; most call it fresh and lively.

How does Longueteau Sélection Parcellaire No. 12 Canne Rouge 2018 taste?
Aggregated from 20 community reviews.
Fresh, grassy white agricole with peppery citrus Most tasters love it fresh and grassy, with cane, citrus and a surprisingly long peppery finish. A couple find the pepper and lemon bitterness overdone. Rested, it opens up nicely.

Review by Rhum Mirror 🇧🇪
The nose is on fresh sugar cane with honeyed and slightly smoky notes. It is a very frank nose that attracts interest. The attack in mouth is all in balance (one could believe that it is even more reduced than 55%), it is very vegetable in mouth, the cane is honored! The peppery and fruity side - citrus fruits is really pleasant. The length is rather persistent and even surprising on the peppered! We spend a good moment of tasting accompanied by a perfect sweetness. The glass empties too quickly! A rum all in control.

This is the last of older tastings for now 😊 Once rested this rum is really nice. Fruity and fresh with nice floral and grassy notes. Draws nice curtains and the empty glass is wonderfully fresh with citrus and mint. This rum will probably be splitting waters but I think it's pretty good ad the price tag is really good.

What a gourmet treat this rhum❤️Le nose is focused on the gourmand, biscuity, sugar-spiked cane side of things. On the palate, it's still very gourmand, with the appearance of floral notes and eucalyptus bringing a lovely freshness. The finish is long on cane and eucalyptus.
