Sipped neat, this is one for slow evenings — "very agricole, almost whiskey like rum," as one member puts it. Grassy cane, pear and fresh fruit up front, then a streak of nail-polish and spice, cinnamon and clove, with light oak underneath. At 56.5% it needs a while in the glass to open up. Fresh and dry, closer to a rhum agricole than anything sweet.

15.07.2026 Retasting and it is still a pretty OK rum. -------------- 25.01.2023 Enjoying some samples at home. Colour Medium to dark in colour. Nose Light wood, Agricole, fruits, light polish, spice, plum, faint medicinal. Palate Round, warm, light wood, faint roasted, fruits, light pear, Agricole, spice, light nutts. Finish Medium to long, light wood, fruits, light pear, light medicinal, light plum. This rum needs to rest for a good while to really open up properly.

This rum is like a candy - it smells like mead but with a hint of varnished wood..the flavor is complex..from sweet honey on the nose to overripe fruit to a bit more technical varnish and spices like cloves and cinnamon. The finish is medium to long...it's the kind of rum to sip every evening when you're craving something sweeter (like Christmas) but not too sweet...just like a candy bar.

Very agricole, almost whiskey-like rum.

A slightly spicy nose, with a hint of nail polish :) On the palate, a little acidity that stings the nose, warm, spicy notes with a hint of lemon or citrus fruit and a slight bitterness.
