Not too bad a Foursquare. The ABV could have been better integrated, but the overall impression is good. The price also matches pretty well. Fruity with roasted wood and a nice chocolate/vanilla topping. Draws nice curtains and the empty glass is pretty nice after a while.

Foursquare is a distillery from Barbados producing amazing rums for everyday sipping. It's a rum especially appreciated by rum lovers who are fed up with sugar and looking for a smooth, sweet rum full of coconut, vanilla, chocolate and caramel. Simply pleasant and not aggressive flavors.

For me, Foursquare releases after New Yarmouth are the best Shark releases. (Not counting Appleton 07 - that's a different game) At least in the blue ocean. This is a very pleasant Barbados in the nose. ECS can't compare. I like the nose, I like the taste, I like the ABV and I like the price. I bow to the whole team and salute you. Rum Shark belongs in the belly, not on the shelf.

Color dark amber. Aroma wood, spice, sweetness, honey, coconut, red fruits. Taste caramel, wood, coconut, spice, chocolate, sweetness, intense taste, you can feel the strength of the alcohol, could be better integrated. Finish medium-long wood, chocolate, caramel, spice, coconut.

I really do like Foursquare rums. This one has nice color. Although it has a higher alcohol content it feels very smooth, sweet and gentle. Love the woody combination with chocolate.

Heavy foursquare rum, with groundy taste. The beggining is not well integrated, body is full and strong with chocolate flavour, the end is mild.
