8,5:On the nose, light esters, fermented, overripe fruits like banana, pineapple, perhaps apples, herbaceous, grassy molasses, toasted wood with chocolate, cookie dough, spicy with allspice, ginger, bump into our nosetrils. On aeration, citrus, yellow and dried fruits arise, the molasses is candied, creamy, smoky and slightly burnt tones join(leather, perhaps rubber). 8,3:On the palate, the attack is soft at first, fruity with fermented tropical, citrus and green fruits, slightly acidic, later joined with dried fruits, medicinal with light esters, rubber, the wood is roasted with chocolate, burnt sugar, spicy with allspice, ginger, vanilla, a bit tannic, as the molasses is vegetal with briny olive, herbaceous, flowery, slightly sweet with honey hints. 8,2:The finish is medium long, dry&tannic, quite dark with roasted wood notes, burnt, smoky, spicy, grassy molasses, black tea and fruity with various fermented fruits. The aroma alone promises a relaxed pleasure, which is also confirmed in the mouth, with the typical aromas of pineapple, slightly tart apple and fermented citrus fruits, accompanied by a mild, toasty woodiness. A successful, drinkable and round LROK, which fortunately has no tart or greenish young wood elements.

Yeah, this one definitely has the strongest Jamaica DNA. No matter what anyone else thinks, congrats 😄 Thanks Papa for everything, you were the best. Otherwise, lots of fruit here, pineapple and banana, plus some vanilla. It’s great, thanks Papa.

A wonderful LROK. Overripe tropical fruits, esters and cookie dough on the nose; complemented by apple and citrus fruits. The palate continues pleasantly. The honey gives the rum something creamy. Along with toasted wood and vanilla. The finish is just as complex. The years in the cask have really done the rum good and made it round.

I'm not an LROK fan, but this one is actually not bad: Pineapple, yellow and tropical fruits, slight sweetness, followed on the finish by a slight bitterness (probably from the cask). Conclusion: pleasant Hampden for sipping when you don't want too many esters.
