Sip this one neat, but keep water close — several tasters say a few drops open it right up, softening the alcohol and coaxing out cream and licorice. It smells of dried apricot, vanilla and brown sugar, then turns spicy and oily on the palate with bitter orange, almonds and cane running underneath. A warm, long, faintly bitter finish. Fresh agricole character throughout, just a touch hot and unbalanced at full strength.

A round, pleasant Bielle, without edges or corners and easy to drink. On the nose, dried apricot with vanilla and brown sugar. On the palate, something nutty with bitter orange, lightly toasted and delicate vanilla.. the finish is medium-length with vegetal notes, some mocha and slightly bitter.

Unspectacular nose: dark chocolate, blackberry, raisins, vanilla, cinnamon, fresh grass - sugarcane Pleasant palate: apricot, honey, banana, almonds, floral, fresh grass, some spices like sage, some wood, alcohol well integrated

At first the nose hits with alcohol and solvents. Candied, dried fruits (apricots). Sugarcane and spice. Overall a bit too strong and unbalanced. Let's add a few drops of water. It now gains, creamier and some licorice comes out. The nose is now really beautiful. 😻 On the mouth very strong and spicy. Now the Bielle-typical cookie dough or macaroons come out stronger.💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾 Long finish. Spicy and sugarcane.😀😀 Overall profile clearly in the Bielle Brut de Fut series, unfortunately a bit unbalanced. But still a very good rum with good value for money.

I really liked this cask strength. The nose is very pleasant, soft, from the cask it's fruity and nicely rounded, a beautiful first approach. I found the entry on the palate rather honeyed, dried fruits apricot, then caught up by agricultural punch, orange is added. The finish gives way to citrus-orange and still the cask.

Very nice Bielle with everything you want from a balanced rum: caramel, fruit, vanilla, roasted aromas, chocolate, sugarcane. On the palate as well, with an oily texture, unmistakably made from sugarcane juice.

#4147 First off the bat. You get a lot for your money with this release. An intense and fruity rum with a spicy and oily palate. The Agricole notes are there and the profile is also nice and fresh. Very long and warm finish. Draws really nice curtains in the glass and the empty glass has some orange and very faint licorice.
