Bielle Brut de Fût 2014
Best neat with a few drops of water — that loosens up the cask-strength heat and brings out the creamy side. Expect dried apricot, vanilla and brown sugar up front, then a fresh, grassy agricole punch with bitter orange and a long, spicy, oily finish. A few tasters call it slightly unbalanced; most find it rounds out nicely with air.
- Dried apricot, vanilla
- Long warm finish
- Oily texture

#4147 First off the bat. You get a lot for your money with this release. An intense and fruity rum with a spicy and oily palate. The Agricole notes are there and the profile is also nice and fresh. Very long and warm finish. Draws really nice curtains in the glass and the empty glass has some orange and very faint licorice.

In line with the other 2014 bdf's. A top product. All in balance with good aeration.

Beautiful Bielle with a balanced profile.

Solid agricole, fresh, dried fruit, not too sweet.

Have some hazelnut wood. Otherwise quite light due to its young age.

Unspektakuläre Nase: dunkle Schokolade, Brombeere, Rosinen, Vanille, Zimt, frisches Gras - Zuckerrohr Angenehmer Gaumen: Aprikose, Honig, Banane, Mandeln, Blumig, frisches Gras, etwas Gewürze wie Salbei, etwas Holz, Alkohol ganz gut eingebunden
