Surprise for a white rum: it's noticeably dry, which a few tasters say lifts it above the usual soft blanco. The nose is faint and lemony-waxy; the palate brings more — lemon, fresh green apple, a little spice, then a short, fresh finish. Body is thin, and neat it turns a bit hot and rough. Most people reach for it as a mixer.

A very light nose. Faintly lemony and waxy. Not much of note. The palate has more flavour than the nose would suggest. Lemon and fresh green apple with a hint of spices. A short finish but quite fresh. The apple lingers with the spice. Overall, it's pretty middle of the road. Nothing offensive, a bit thin. Would work mixed, if you didn't want much from the rum.

Really drinkable for a white ...

Mixer and an average one at that in my opinion. When it was in the local Supermarket for 12€ I took it without thinking. (I still prefer it more than Bacardi Carta Blanca) Despite everything you can make a proper fresh, crispy, daiquiri with it. The price makes the biggest difference.

Another nice tasting finished, this time with rums from the Domenican Republic. This is definitely a mixer. Seems like they made this rum because they felt that they had to make a white rum. Bland to the point of boring.

I think it's only usable in mixing. It works decently in a Mojito, but neat I find it unpleasantly alcoholic, especially in the mouth. Very rough in general, I would call it coarse. Sure, for 13 euros a bottle you can't expect much. On the nose it's quite decent, a 5, in the mouth a 3. Finish a bit pungent.
