Fair tasting, therefore scarcer: More intense in alcohol than the other Cihuatan, cinnamon and ginger, warm, chocolaty. In terms of taste, it goes one better in terms of chocolate and is also darker than, for example, the Indigo, but also still has the more milky tones. Very round in the alcohol - concise but not unpleasant. Class! Addendum 1 from tasting: fruit, wood and cognac came out much better here now. Chocolate slips a bit more into the background. Again better!
Review by Teo Kas
Sweet with slight hints of caramel and vanilla ,but the alcohol taste is quite dominant despite being only 43%. The flavors feel shallow and lack complexity. Short finish. Nothing memorable or exciting.
Review by Dávid Kaya
Sweet taste, does not have strong kick, medium finish.

Fein. Unglaublich zugänglich. Für Anfänger wie fortgeschrittene ein tolles Erlebnis!

Pleasant nose, mouthfeel and finish. All kinds of roasted aromas and sweet components. Bitterness and cocoa are present. Spices such as vanilla and cinnamon are also present. I think the price is also okay. I like it!

Vanille, Schokolade, Sherry. Gefällt mir gut!

The first Limited Edition of Cihuatan the taste of the Nahual comes again dran but not quite at the same level. Nevertheless, a fantastic blend of the use of ex-Oloroso & ex-Cognac barrels has gained a little more complexity. Also really like it!

Catch-up Rum Depot Tasting.

Extremely restrained nose. In the taste then a lot of cocoa butter but still quite tame in terms of power.
Review by Christian Rudt
Can you drink already is just sugar in it 😅 But interesting composition with the rum aged in different barrels.
Review by Peter Sjoroos
A bit sharp for being only 43%, the alcohol does not integrate very well. Should feel rounder as being 15 years. Short finish. Not bad, but was expecting more.

Sweet taste, lower profile

"Sweetened like hell, not like this is particularly unpleasant. Bit take a less than ok rum and fill it up with sugar. It isn't exactly an art form. This is rather non interesting and again I still don't get the appeal."
