#4451 04.11.2023 preparing a tasting for next weekend for a group of 4. All rums are in the "war" spectrum 😂 This is a really nice and pretty well balanced rum. The nose is fresh and fruity with a floral note. The palate is intense and oily with fruits, light leather and caramel. The finish is medium to long with a nice citrus touch. The empty glass has a light smoky as well as a faint medicinal note.

Nice discovery, really nice aromatics, to be tested again with more aeration but a good product without hesitation.

Small tasting with Kevin in Blåvand Very pleasant, smooth rum that brings a nice basic structure. It does what you expect from an Agricole: grassy notes with spicy hints and a light sweetness that could taste like cookie dough, though it's a bit too unbalanced for that. But that shouldn't detract from it – overall a good package without being too excited.

I just tasted that after another Montebello BDF. This is much fuller in mouth feeling and eventhough it has some of the pastry things, it really has more of the agricole profile one expects with montebello. Its good, but not great.
