Initial smell of chocolate and coffee with a hint of treacle. Nice smooth taste with caramel, chocolate with hints of nuts and a little spice. Nice finish with a little burn. When left to breathe it becomes smoother.

The nose is a big hit of roasted almonds mixed with pencil shavings and cardamom. Juicy raisins are hiding underneath. Very interesting. The palate hits hard with salted licorice, the sort you'd get traveling Europe, generic caramel and the raisin from the nose. Towards the end a nuttiness appears. Licorice lingers, joined by cinnamon and oak for the finish. Different, worth a try. The full PX aging has left its mark. Something nice to relax with.
