Olive, brine and nail polish lead the way — this unaged Grenada cane-juice pot-still spirit reads more like a distiller's study than a finished rum. Underneath sit sugar cane, citrus and a mineral, almost leathery edge one taster compared to A1710. Bottled at 50% before it ever saw a cask, it splits the room hard: intriguing to some, undrinkable to others.

#5185 29.03.2025 Running through some samples at home. Nose Medium intense, light varnish, olive, light citrus, light coriander, spice. Palate Oily, light citrus, faint smoke, light polish, olive, faint salt, spice, light herbal. Finish Medium to long, oily, light citrus, faint mineral, spice, light herbal. Empty glass Polish, citrus, faint floral, olive.

Well... A difficult case here😬😬 Some guys love the rums from Renegade, but a lot of them don’t like them, because of the strange character.😆 I found this one relatively good, less mechanical workshop flavors, but more sugar cane and vegetal aromas.

This is aweful. Dumped it out as I could not finish it. Be careful, it will ruin your palette for the day. It has extremely strong smell and flavour that will overwhelm you.

This is clearly a UFO. It's hard to rate this rum because it's clear that we're dealing with a study rather than a finished product, and at the same time it's intriguing. Solvents, brine, olive without hesitation, but also some fruit, smoke, a mineral side... an enigma!
