This was the last Guadeloupe agricole distillery I had to tick off - thanks to BBB for my Christmas present! It's just fantastic - loads of funk, flowers, fruit and salty olives.

Nez, pâtisserie, mi cuit, amende amère. Alcool bien présent au nez, assez agressif. Il y a des épices aussi mais j’ai du mal à dire lesquels. Après avoir lu les critiques j’ai l’olive qui ressort pas mal. En bouche, on retrouve les mêmes arômes, avec un peu de végétal / floral que j’avais pas trop au nez. Belle intensité, alcool bien présent, mais super bien intégré alors que ça me faisait peur au nez, pas gênant en bouche. Belle finale, longueur moyenne, portée sur l’amende amère avec touche de végétale.

Al naso è esplosivo con frutta tropicale matura, olive, litchi, alghe dolci, agrumi e qualcosa come torrone. Al palato è morbido e caldo con sentori di salamoia, esteri, umami, alghe, aringhe affumicate, agrumi, papaya matura. Una dolcezza lieve fa da sfondo al tutto. E il finale è abbastanza persistente (medio-lungo). Abv assurdo pare avere 20 gradi in meno. Nel bicchiere vuoto esteri/umami.

#4074 This is a pretty nice white especially when looking at the price tag. Fruity with nice floral notes and a lightly dry palate. I like the light nutty note that is also there in the empty glass.

Alcohol well integrated, nice nose but taste me much too salty, vegetable and bitter and herbaceous.... Unfortunately, hardly any fruit notes ... Tasty for it in the daiquiri But why that must now cost 80€ I do not understand?

It makes a killer daiquiri. The nose is great, tropical, inviting and something different. Combination of grass, pineapple and nougat. The mouth is intense and you really know you are drinking a full proof unaged agricole then. Arrack, subtle brine and green element. Finish is salty and fruity with tropical notes and some pineapple. A great unaged white rum but best in cocktails and mixed for my taste rather than straight up. Side note - One of the best daiquiri white rums I have found!
