Rum Friendly Club Advent Calendar Day 1. Un nez boisé, vanillé, avec des fruits secs et de la noix de coco. Très agréable même si le bois jeune domine un peu trop. La bouche est douce, boisée, les fruits secs et la coco viennent ensuite. Une bouche un peu simple mais savoureuse. En finale aussi le bois vanillé et la coco dominent un peu trop. Le bois reste longtemps après que les fruits aient disparu.

Édit: I put this review under the wrong ref, here it is in the correct place. My first privateer. On the nose, I have coconut, wood and a very small hint of glue. On the mouth, it's coconut, fruity, sweet and a little spicy. You can feel the alcohol. The finale is rather short, it's kn the coconut and the caramel. In a blind test I might have gone for Belize, only the hint of glue on the nose would make me think otherwise. It's nice and pleasant but not groundbreaking.

A Corsican nose that took me by surprise. Clearly coffee and spice on the palate, with good intensity and length. A little hot, but pleasantly so. A great discovery to share with friends around the barbecue.

Ve vůni tuna kokosu a vanilky až takový Foursquare na druhou. A nepřekvapivě to i chutná jako Fs, ale tohle je snad lepší, takové nevtíravé. V závěru ještě krom komba karamel, vanilka, kokos ještě přijde káva.
