And it continues with Long Pond, here esters are also clearly recognizable. This time, however, we only have banana as the tropical fruit :-) Glue is also noticeable, but to me it is a bit too flat/thin.

#4276 01.10.2023 A very nice release where the ABV is really well integrated. Fruity with esters and light glue. The palate is warm and oily and there is a light funkiness to the profile. The finish is medium to long and has some citrus to it. Draws nice curtains in the glass and the empty glass has some dried fruit and herbal notes.

On the nose nice overripe bananas with plenty of ester. On the palate there is still some oiliness. Also here with nice aroma and ester. Actually not bad with a medium finish.

On the nose it is pleasantly fruity and quite balanced. You can tell it is not a young rum. Some time in the glass definitely does it good. On the palate, however, rather unremarkable, somewhat disappointing. It seems a bit too watered down and quite round to me.

A powerful nose with hints of spice. On the palate, toasty aromas leave a lasting impression. Pleasant length in keeping with the titration. A pleasure to return to, and once aired it improves! A very good LP as we like them!

What a lovely little cask. It is rather full for the 2000 crw. Blind I would have went for lps 2001. Which is an extremely good thing in my book. This was also very fair priced for what it is. A full recommendation
