Opinion lands mostly warm but not thrilled: this blend of young Bielle agricole and Foursquare, aged in seven different woods, splits between people who enjoy its coconut-vanilla-and-oak balance and those who find the many casks blur each other out. Blend 1/3 bielle blanc, 2/3 Foursquare 3 years old. The blend is aged for 1 year in 7 different small wooden casks (acacia, mahogany, minuzara, amburana, French, American and black oak). Bottled at 49%. The result is an inevitably complex, yet balanced rum. Surprisingly, it smells more of bielle than Foursquare. The first impression on the nose is of wood, followed by freshness and fruit once oxidized. On the palate, it's the other way round: fruit first, then woody aromas continue through to the rather medium finish. For the price, it's a fine piece of work!

A closed rum on nose and palate. This molasses is not very expressive, leaning towards coconut. The finish is average due to the alcohol but the aftertaste is unpleasant.

Somehow none of the Riccis have been really my thing so far. This one is simply fruity on the nose, overripe grapes are clearly recognizable to me. On the palate then many tropical and yellow fruits like apricot for example.

Blend Marie Galante/Barbade aged for a fairly short time in 7 different casks. Pleasant to drink, there's a little complexity between the spices of the agricultural and the dried fruit and chocolate of the Barbados. The oak is present but not overpowering.

"Very nice, a real yellow/ripe fruit thick in the mouth. Very sweet, almost too sweet To sum up, my tasting notes: Nose: Coconut, Woody, Vanilla Mouth: Woody, Yellow fruit, Peaches, Bitter orange, Sugar Finish: Cinnamon, Vanilla".

Tasted at the occasion of Rhum Fest Paris 2026. A fairly balanced rum. You find the influences of the two rums that compose it. Reduction makes it approachable. Woody, vanilla, fruity. A bit of coconut. Pleasant but not crazy.

Difficult to decipher blindly. But after knowing the composition, I think it's very well thought out. You can smell the coconut and vanilla typical of Barbados, but with the dryness of pure juice.

Very good, the foursquare and the biele perfectly blended, you'd almost think it was 50-50. A real treat for such young rums. The work on the different casks and what they bring to the table almost merits an 8/10.
