The 25-year-old is quite another level. The nose here consists of burnt sugar and roasted nuts. On the palate then looooots of wood, also smoky and pepper is recognizable. Definitely the best of the trio.

Nose light notes of orange zest and Scotch cask, doesn’t really fit for me, tongue feels off, doesn’t fit together for me, off notes, not tasty

For me, as an absolute non-fan of Islay whiskies, still surprisingly tasty but simply not my thing and definitely not for €190. Various CDI Boulet de Canon lines offer more for less money. The rum here has taken a back seat. Still, overall a successful finish.

You have to like it. Islay finish with mighty old Panama rum. I find the finish well done.
