Un rhum de l’embouteilleur suisse Origin R. Avec des fruits tropicaux, du bois vernis et une pointe d’acétone au nez. La bouche est vive avec de l’ananas rôti et du sucre candi. La finale est moyennement longue avec beaucoup de fruits. Le verre vide exhale comme un parfum de crème solaire. Une très belle surprise. Regoûté avec de l’oxydation et il est encore meilleur.

The rum is top quality for me. Vanilla, milk chocolate, tropical fruit, brioche, jam, esters, cask, light floral notes, bourbon. Perfect drinking strength, harmonious. It is accessible, you don't have to "work" to be rewarded by it. Easy sipping and still has a lot to offer. I like it exceptionally well.

I find it very pleasant, it could be a little stronger and stiffer but otherwise great. Nice velvety, leathery wood notes and alcohol pleasantly integrated. The low ABV makes this Long Pond an easy dailysipper with potential in the Mai Tai.

Seit langem mal. Wieder ein sehr guter rum. Der Alkoholgehalt passt sehr gut. Schöne fruchtifkeit mit viel Gewürzen und backaromen. Ein rundes und spannendes Geschmackserlebnis welches man probiert haben sollte

On the nose: After sitting in the glass it get woody notes ,baking spices/pastry notes and little bit of banana notes. Little bit of ester notes. Balanced. Taste: Vanilla forward. Brown sugar. Hints of overripe pineapple. Spicy. There is even hints of mocha and maybe chocolate in there. The abv is integrated pretty good, giving nice strong body to it. Very nice palate! Finish:Woody, roasted/eucalyptus type of notes. Vanilla. Banana. Lovely finish. Impressive rum from nosing to finish. Such rich palate. I absolutely loved sipping this rum.

Angenehm rund und süffig zu trinken. Wirkt am Gaumen etwas gezähmt, ohne, dass das Profil gänzlich verloren geht. Hat Charme, dürfte für meinen Geschmack aber mehr Long Pond-Ausdruckskraft mitbringen.

The Rum starts strong with flavors of dried mango, oak, and dried fruits. It's nicely balanced on the palate, with added spice notes. The rum feels rich and intense. As you sip, you'll notice hints of exotic fruits, wood, and a touch of smoke. Overall, it's a fantastic rum.

Ah yes... What a floral nose.... With a little touch of its own... A little vanilla tobacco? I don't know... 😅The esters are contained and invite you to savor. WHAT A TASTE...😳 For me, this is a discovery in Jamaicans... A UFO for sure... a sweetness in the fruits and the floral that dance together... The alcoholic strength is very present (56.5°) and enhances the first impressions and spices up your palate. The finish is very long, and like all self-respecting Jamaicans, the astringency at the end of the mouth disappears, leaving you to discover the scent of sweetness.

Nose: Spicy, nutty (walnut, hazelnut, nutmeg), slightly tropical fruit, dark chocolate, alcohol comes through a little Palate: the tropical fruits come through a little more, alcohol could be a little better integrated, chocolate truffles on the finish
