Albert Michler Distillery New Yarmouth 1994 Jamaica
Opinions land mostly high on this 28-year New Yarmouth, though not everyone puts it at the top of the 1994 pack. Expect wood, light caramel, pineapple and mango over an oily body, with a faint rubber and smoke edge typical of the mark. One taster even flagged a bottle tipping slightly sour on a later pour. Naturally sweet without tasting sugared, and long on the finish.

- Long finish
- But: Faint rubber note

How does Albert Michler Distillery New Yarmouth 1994 Jamaica taste?
Aggregated from 34 community reviews.
Woody, oily 28-year Jamaican pot-still sipper Most rate it a rich, complex 94 NY — oily, woody, faintly funky. A few call it the weaker end of a great run, and one saw a bottle go sour over time.

Creamy sweets on the nose, tempting. Somehow indifferent on the palate, hardly any fruit, but at least with well-integrated alcohol. For me at the lower end of the great 94 NY league. Update 2023-07-27: A clear devaluation. Why? In today's blind tasting, the rum (from the same bottle) tipped unpleasantly into sourness. And not only for me. And for more than 300 EUR bottle price definitely not recommendable. From 83 to 78 points. Too bad.

Probiert auf dem 12. GRF: Schönes 94er NY-Profil, aber für mich nicht die stärkste Abfüllung dieses Marks.

Amazing. The only disadvantage is its price for daily sip.

Velmi povedený New Yarmouth, bohatý a komplexní ve vůni i chuti. NY Royal Cane 1994 je ještě o něco lepší, ale i Michler má co nabídnout. Jen škoda ceny.

Ročník 1994. S 8,5 z 10 patří k tomu lepšímu, co se mi dostalo do skleničky.

Beautifully sweet, creamy, like caramel. A great choice for rum drinkers who want to switch from sweet syrups to pure spirit. New Yarmouth 1994 rarely disappoints. This is a great choice that you will always want to come back to.
