The rum I tasted that has the most present sulfur of all the rums I have tried. It reminds me of the pirate firecrackers I used to light when I was little. I have red fruits (cherry) on the palate after opening.

A rather unsettling rum at opening. The alcohol on the nose is very aggressive, masking the aromas focused on cherry pit, which is logical but with a complexity hidden by this excess. In short, not very subtle. On the palate, the attack is again alcoholic, not integrated. It annoys when you know where it comes from! Then you find the exaggerated dominance of sherry that makes you lose a bit of everything else. The finish is quite average. No gustatory modification. In short, I sucked on a pit soaked in hooch... I'll wait a few days and maybe, very rarely, dilute it whisky-style to try to let it open up, it can't end like this.

I've never tasted a rum so full of sulfur! As a result, the nose is pungent and the mouth just as much, making it impossible to taste.
