This is a remarkable rum Hampden! I like it a lot! It’s has a lovely Cherry note😍 Nose: Typical Hampden Falvours funk, ester, glue… with a hint of cherry and papaya Mouth: reflects what you expect from the nose 😜a nice complexity, well balanced, the alcohol is integrated very well too! Finish: Long with lovely notes of pineapple, ester and the barrel notes! Well done SaibotZtar 💪🏻💪🏻

Wow! What an awesome creation SaibotZtar. A Hampden High Ester Blend (HLCF, C<>H, DOK) aged in a small barrel with a hefty 63.3%. I was lucky to taste three samples over the maturation (one year) and the final product turned out really great. The nose is wonderful and yet not too extreme for High Ester. On the palate nice fruit and the wood is present but not too strong. Rating is naturally difficult here, as there is basically nothing comparable, but if I could buy this at Hampden like this I would be very satisfied. Tonight of course the Mai Tai test is coming.

Hammer creation! A typical Jamaica nose hits me when pouring. Let it breathe, then it was milder. Pretty awesome stuff.

Blind tasting. A very gourmet Hampden. A super pineapple pastry. Fruits, creamy almond powder. Still very dry, really good. A nice surprise. Thank you Tobias for the opportunity to taste this.

Excellent rum, nothing more to say. I taste a slight cherry blossom here. The first sip was relatively harsh, but once you get used to it, really a rum of high quality.

Surprisingly much cask influence for only one year of aging! The typical Hampden markers of esters, glue and caramelized pineapple are probably accompanied here by cocoa cask, some cherry and intense tannins. Really well-made blend, just almost a bit too much wood influence for my taste.

First, thanks for the FreeSampler. I have to admit this one doesn't necessarily have to hide in front of a Great House. It really reminded me a lot of it. The only real small criticism is that the finish is a bit too sour for me personally. But maybe it's just my mood that day.

Really tasty blend where the individual marks are recognizable. The cask influence is very well dosed and fits perfectly with this Jamaica blend. Hats off, super successful, delicious neat and a blast in a Mai Tai 🚀

Great project, great blend. Harmoniously fruity in the higher ester range with a nice cask note. The comparison isn't quite accurate, but I would always prefer this blend here over the Great House.

Nice blend with clear ester freight and lots of spice from the cask influence. After some time with a few drops of water a pleasant nuttiness. The ester notes remain mildly present. Very good!
