Crazy rum experience. Very intense strawberry aroma, almost fake like in candies or bubble gum. Then come candied dried pineapple and overripe pineapple in a sort of brine... Quite the aromas and flavors. The palate is aligned with the nose. This is packed with fruits, easy to drink at 57%.

31.12. 2019 Last tasting of 2019 went into 2020. Celebrating with family and friends who like rum we ended up having a great party according to my notes. Notes. Transparent in colour. Nose: fresh, intense, spice, strawberry, light olive, ester. Palate: fresh, warm, ester, fruity, spice, herbs. Finish: long and warm, fruity, herbs, light orange.

In the nose, very ripe yellow fruits, even rotten, with cheese. In the mouth, the attack is very strong on the sugar. The fruit is not yet ripe. The more the mouth advances, the more the fruit is ripe, kiwi. Before the finish we find the same rot and cheese, it reminded me of noni (apple dog) very ripe and burst. The finish is medium and more classic, I like it more. We find the green fruit ripe but not rotten. Maybe some cytherea apple and quenette. The finish brings up my note.

After pouring into the glass, the scent of overripe fruit, especially banana and pineapple, spreads throughout the room. 20min resting do not necessarily make it better, the varnish evaporates after a short time, alcohol hardly stings the nose.In the mouth then first a neat tingling, initially much less fruity than one might expect from the smell. After a short time in the mouth it becomes sweeter, creamier, the much quoted ice candy comes to it, the overripe, almost mushy fruit, especially the banana, are very present and also remain exceedingly long on the palate! A great, fruity-pleasant rum, needs m.E. no water.

Very peculiar and special taste. Nose: jam, intense fruity, esters. In the finish it changes rather to salty and vegetable sticks. The fermented, vegetable in the finish does not suit me personally so.

Yo les potos Savanna - HERR 57 - 🇷🇪 - 57% On est ici en présence d'un des plus gros OVNI parmi les rhums que j'ai pu gouter, j'ai nommé le HERR (High Ester Réunion Rhum) 57. Et pas n'importe lequel, le batch 1 qui lui a forgé sa réputation ! Ça a été un gros coup de cœur et il s'agit de la dernière rescapée de ce que j'ai pu ramener de l'île intense. Savanna nous a sorti une petite merveille de grand arome avec un taux d'esters élevé (423,4 g/hlap) qui est obtenu apres 11 jours de fermentation. Il me fait penser à du jamaicain. Au nez on retrouve l'arlequin, les olives, le kiwi et les fruits rouges. L'ensemble de ce qu'on a senti explose en bouche et ça part dans tous les sens avec intensité et une longueur interminable. Assez atypique et peut-être un peu rude pour les palais néophytes, âmes sensibles s'abstenir. Santé

Hubba Bubba childhood memories paired with a good portion of alcohol. With time, the enthusiasm decreases somewhat. Therefore, slight downward correction.
