Young Belize, what to tell more... I had hard times hunting for any other tasting notes that sweet and banana (peel), because for me that's all I got from this one. Not great not terrible I guess.

Description: Rhum Rum Of the World Belize 2017 is an aged rum made from column distillation of molasses, produced at the Travellers distillery in Belize. It started its maturation for 3 years in American bourbon barrels on site, under the tropical climate, before being transferred to Europe for additional aging in an ex-rum cask, where it continued to develop for one year. Bottled at 43% vol without additives, it belongs to the British tradition of rums, and its formula, typical of independent bottlers, highlights the Belizean terroir. (Source: lamaisondesrhums.ff, caveconseil.fr, jardinvouvrillon.fr) Nose: chocolate. Palate: chocolate, spicy, round. Well balanced for me. Finish: chocolate notes, some roundness and very light spice. Conclusion: I like it and after having had friends taste this one and the Rum of the World Fiji, they prefer the Belize. Personally, I prefer the Fiji. Would I buy a bottle again? We'll see, not at 50 euros. Maybe at 40€. Probably not if I find an equivalent, I haven't yet explored what Belize has to offer for rum (apart from this one).

Very light, discreet caramel on the nose. Meh. Nice surprise on the palate: spicy white fruits, plastic, quite short like Fiji. Super easy to drink.

Too weak in taste and smell. It's a good start-up. But nothing special. Smell is gentle creamy apricot similar in taste
