Well, I don't know what to say about this. At first you could just taste the alcohol. Over time, the sweet chocolatey taste came out. Nevertheless, the alcohol dominates. Definitely quite good with cola.

"An amusing note of toasted almond, but nothing more. In summary, my tasting notes: On the nose: Vanilla, Toasted almonds On the palate: Toasted almonds, Barrel, Oak" I think I'll be able to come back and try it again.

Discreet, mostly alcoholic nose. Round on the palate, with caramel and nutty notes. Very short length. Unfortunately, not a very interesting rum.

Wie auch bei dem jüngeren Carúpano strotzt dieser Rum nur so vor Sahne-Karamellbonbon. Insbesondere an der Nase. Am Gaumen dann ähnlich, aber gepaart mit etwas Herbem, dass mich an Vollkornbrot erinnert. Insgesamt aber recht dünn

Good rum in the molasses genre, but almost too sweet and aromatic - I was raised on West Indian agricultural produce... Fresh, cold, metallic fruity nose. Very greedy palate, very sweet, even too sweet, and light at 40dg. Tastes of coconut, gingerbread caramel.

"Uff, again rough one. Musty wood and rancid butter or margarine with butter aroma. A lot of alcoholic sensation all through out... At the end a sharp burn of sugar or sweetener. This one is really rough and I sincerely do not get why you need so many of those .."
