#4275 01.10.2023 I think the price tag on this one is very fair. The profile is medium heavy with roasted wood and light fruit. The palate is oily and medium spicy and I like the licorice touch to it. The finish is medium to long, lightly dry and warm. Draws beautiful curtains in the glass and the empty glass has some light caramel to it.

Typical PM profile, but seems a bit young. Alcohol not optimally integrated.
Review by Tim
The best thing about this rum is its nose, which smells uncannily of apple or the green apple rings. In the mouth, typical Wooden Still with lots of herbal, woody and spicy notes. Finish: heavy barrel notes, slightly musty and herbal. The price is correspondingly high based on 20 years of storage, but I think that Ramero has more interesting rums on offer and that you can get better Port Mourants for the same price elsewhere.
