East Village Rum 2010
"Sehr rund" is how one fan sums up this Dominican column-still rum, and that's the split: it's a tidy spanish-style profile of dark chocolate, vanilla, spice and a salty edge, but several tasters say the alcohol still bites at 50.4% and that it runs thin and short. Pleasant cocoa notes, just not much depth underneath.
- Dark chocolate notes
- Salty-cocoa twist
- Authentic spanish style

How does East Village Rum 2010 taste?
Aggregated from 11 community reviews.
Chocolate-and-salt Dom Rep, thin and hot Decent for the spanish style, with cocoa-and-salt character a few people enjoy. But many find the alcohol poorly integrated and the body thin, lacking depth and a long finish.

Above average Spanish style rum. The alcohol is not ideally integrated and bites a little. On the palate, an interesting combination of chocolate and salt. Nice, but I personally lack the depth and creaminess.
