Aroma visualization from community tastings
C.M.R Mamita Rhum 1970s
Collectors chasing old-style 1970s bottlings are the natural audience here — this is a vintage curiosity more than an everyday pour. The nose draws people in: pear, varnished wood, tobacco and a whiff of fruit spirit, with an agricole edge. The palate is where opinions cool — like "biting into a branch," as one member put it, then caramel and vanilla arrive, but it fades fast and reads a touch unbalanced.

Aggregated from 12 community reviews.
Old-school vintage: fine nose, woody short palate A recurring theme: lovely on the nose, less convincing on the palate. Several tasters find it dry, woody and short, with the alcohol not fully knit in.

14.12.1995 Travelling around Asia i sometimes found bars that had other stuff than local beer and local whisky, which for that matter wasn't bad in the high temperatures. Notes. Medium dark colour. Nose: fresh, fruity, light wood, round. Palate: Intense, fruits, wood, unbalanced. Finish: medium long, intense, warm, fruits. 3 out of 5 stars.
