08.12.1984 This was my first tasting of pure rum and where my trip of sipping rums began. I have a lot of funny notes about my first tastings and we didn't give points but stars. 5 stars was the perfectly balanced rum and I hav converted the stars into points. Back then I was only able to pick up the more general flavours and luckily that has improved over the years. This tasting came at the giant cost of DKK 49.95. This particular bottle could be purchased for 99.95 Notes on the rum. Medium dark colour with a fruity nose and some spice and light coconut. Palate is warm and fresh with dried fruit and wood. Finish is medium long with wood, raisin and chocolate. 4 Stars.
