#5002 27.12.2024 Enjoying a few samples at home while watching Harry Potter Baking Competition. Nose Medium intense, light wood, light glue, fruity, cinnamon, ginger, sweet, light chocolate. Palate Light wood, sugarcane, vanilla, light chocolate, fruity, light citrus, light honey, light berries. Finish Medium to long, medium spicy, sugarcane, spice, light chocolate, light citrus, light roasted. Needs to rest to really open up! The empty glass has light coffee, faint caramel, light peach and nutts.

On the nose, the cane is still very present in this rather young rum, yet already well marked by wood. Lots of nice things: pastry, floral, woody. With a fresh, sandalwood-like scent. This is confirmed on the palate with a very smooth rum. Pleasant vanilla appears before the pepper adds a lively spiciness. A fine bottle!

First rum of A1710 from their own cane.it's nice but still very young.on the whole, in the nose, in the mouth, I find it too much in the spices.... And yet I like it! The cinnamon and the clove are too present, too bad... On the whole it's good despite everything but I note it severely because of the price that I find exorbitant compared to the quality of the other distilleries in Martinique.

I was expecting a strong intoxicating aroma, like La Perla, but aging in bourbon barrels has done its job and completely changes the profile. A perfectly balanced, round and very mature rhum

Amber (old?) of very good quality but at a crazy price! 20% more expensive than a Neisson profile 105, for example. And sincerely the wood was not very well melted. At 60 euros yes at 99€ no thanks.

A very expressive rum despite its young age. Very easy to drink.

One of the best wood-aged rums for me. Frankly, it's much older than advertised on the label. A very gourmand rum with spices and honey. There's a lovely, lightly toasted woodiness, notes of spices, vanilla, cinnamon, sugar cane, a little power, but just the right amount of roundness thanks to the honey. A real success for such a young rum.

Nice success this rum "rested" under wood. Good spicy/woody balance 🙂

An excellent aged under wood. Of great quality.

Very, very good for its young age. You can smell the cane, the woodiness, the pepper, the smokiness and the lime. Excellent for its age, really. The price is high though, otherwise I'd have given it a 9.
