Famille Ricci Hampden Hommage à Anthony Martins
Most tasters land near "one of the best Hampden blends I've had," with DOK leading the charge — pineapple, glue, nail polish and overripe tropical fruit stacked high. The main gripe is a heavy, almost honey-like sweetness a couple of people found penetrating. The 63.8% sits well-integrated, and the finish runs long and oily. A big ester bomb that stays drinkable.
The community says- Huge ester funk
- Long oily finish
- But: Pushy sweetness

How does Famille Ricci Hampden Hommage à Anthony Martins taste?
Aggregated from 47 community reviews.
Big pineapple-and-glue Hampden ester bomb Strongly loved as a rounded, fruit-heavy Hampden blend — huge esters, glue and pineapple. A few find the sweetness too pushy and the profile slightly young.

Very cool Hampden Blend of , DOK 2009 and HJF 2008. Amazing notes in the notes, a lot of Ester, Glue, Nail polish, Pineapple, Overripe fruits. Typical Hampden Jamaica Funk feeling, what else 🤤🤤🤤 In the mouth the adventure continues, but a bit less powerful. A bit thin, soft… but Delicious😜 The finish is quite long and Hampden alike.

Nice ester/adhesive bomb ... Fruity and heavier than expected. DOK predominantly in nose as on palate . Pineapple, papaya mango ... Very tasty stuff !!! Oily creamy mouthfeel .Great blend !!!

Blend of unaged <>H, 2008 HJF and 2009 DOK. First impression: this has real muscle 💪 but at the same time very fruity: pineapple, lychee, ripe mango. In the background, some yogurt and pastry. On the palate not as extreme as expected, the 63.8% ABV is well integrated. The finish is almost a bit Long Pond-like with apple cider vinegar and gravy. I like it really well!

Beautiful fruit esters with heavy, almost honey sweetness reminiscent of cookie dough. Delicious, the sweetness is reminiscent of the Jamaica releases with sherry finish.

DOK is very present, but very horny blend. Unfortunately a touch too expensive. Thanks for the sample SaibotZtar

Really nice Jamaica high ester blend! There's nothing to complain about! For me personally, this is probably one of the best-made Jamaica blends I've ever had in a glass, really an extremely successful rum with an almost eternal finish.

Amazingly good blend! Young but still extremely round and balanced!

J'adore.

Fruity (overripe tropical fruit) and fun estery Jamaica, less than 64% not much to know, drinks well.

The nose is tough for me : super chemical, rich, but (to me) not enticing. The rum itself is much nicer. Very rich. Fruits, molasse, papaya, rich flavor, strong. Very long finale, persistent and powerful - very nice.

Very good blend, great mix of Hampdens

Longue finale. Si je chipotais un peu, je dirais, dommage d avoir utilisé du h blanc. Un vieux aurait clairement donné une autre dimension au blend. Le résultat est tout de même aussi bon qu intéressant.

My entry into the high ester sector some time ago. It was clearly too strong for me "back then". Now, after a few months, I have to say that it's still a board. It challenges me a lot, but it is still interesting. A huge amount of ester in the nose and on the palate. Cherry lollipops on the second sip too, very late on the back. I still like it on the finish. The olive is also there now. Glass is empty and smells very olive-y. From repulsive to enthusiastic. It goes that quickly :)
