Spirits Museum Tasting 29th of March 2025. Yellow fruits on the first nose, then tropical fruits and a pastry and vanilla side. The palate develops harmoniously with rising aromas and sweetness. The finish is rather short with yellow fruits and a light wood that remain quite long.

#notapro I like the initial vanilla/baked goods note. Great that it continues in the taste with gentle sweetness. There are dark, very slightly baked tones that I would most likely assign to roasted nuts. The high alcohol content does not stand out unpleasantly.

In the nose, green vegetal tones. Luckily they don't carry through the taste. The taste is intensely clean and spicy. The alcohol is well integrated.

Goodbye my nose hairs.... Hard to stay on it... 60.3° doesn't help to distinguish the scents... Molasses is found with a well-present floral as well as spiciness. Surprising... On the palate and with 60.3°, you expect an alcoholic attack... Well, no... You're surprised by a nice softness, then a tropical fruit arrival before the alcohol comes a bit to erase this sensation. But this alcohol enhances the length on the palate by magnifying the sweet flavors... At the very end astringency invites itself... Magnificent. An atypical rum. Either you like it or not... An excellent rum for me.
