Review by Decky Hicks Doughty
The nose is pretty typical of Foursquare. Butterscotch, coconut husk and almond. Oak following. Nothing too complicated or challenging. The palate brings the coconut to the forefront. There's also a vanilla and cashew nut combo that makes me think of coffee syrups. Rather drinkable. The finish is middle of the road in length but has a nice soft, coconut and toffee vibe to it. Overall, I've had nicer rum from Foursquare, but it's a distillery that I've never been disappointed by. This might have been improved with a touch more ABV. But there's not much to complain about. Solid offering.
