#4571 25.01.2024 Ready and packed for the Hanse Spirit in Hamburg tomorrow. Will try to be there as early as possible hoping to meet some of the fellow RumX members. This rum needs to rest for a good while before it settles and releases all its yummy flavours. You can also add a few drops of water, which releases more fruity flavours. Nose Very intense, medium fruity, floral, vegetal, light honey, sugarcane and citrus. Palate Warm/spicy, intense, complex, medium fruity, light vegetal, floral, light herbs, citrus. Finish Very long and warm, sugarcane, light vegetal, floral, citrus. Draws really nice curtains in the glass. The empty glass has some iodine and grass. Would like to try it in a Coca Cola one day.

So this is quite a cool Agricole. On the nose mainly the vegetal part comes through well, otherwise quite floral. On the palate also vegetal/floral, also very sharp-edged and alcoholic.

Fresh nose open on cane. Palate: nice full and aromatic attack, still on cane. Very good length on the palate. A successful pot still rum in the good average without being exceptional.

Aromatic bomb and perfectly mastered blend. The aromatic intensity on the nose and palate is very intense, with great aromatic richness. The finish is long and subtle. Very nice discovery.
