Auch dieser Rum hat eine gewisse Süsse, Honig in der Nase und Karamell im Gaumen. Aber auch hier ist der Alkohol nicht wirklich gut eingebunden. Ausserdem hat dieser Rum irgendwie einen sehr alkoholischen Geschmack im Abgang. Nicht so meins.

In der Nase leichte Lösungsmittel, Holz und etwas Vanille im Hintergrund. Im Mund dominiert das Holz, dann kommt die Vanille aus der Nase stärker durch und bleibt mit schwachem Tabac im kurzen Abgang.

To finish the 1423 company "24 days of rum" calendar, I'm going to do 4-5 samples each day, This one has a nose of wood and hints of vanilla. In the notes I find more wood, some tobacco and a sweetness

Další vzorek z adventniho kalendáře. Tenhle zcela průměrný. Ve vuni citim něco syntetického se stopou dřeva. V chuti trošku agricole, jemná sladkost a trisloviny na jazyku. Bohužel nic, co bych chtěl ještě někdy ochutnat.

Docela těžko popsatelná květinově ovocná vůně. Tělo celkem fajn, ale závěr mi nesedí. Dost nevyzrálé, bijou se třísloviny s typickou agricole chutí a prostě to spolu nesouzní. Delší doba zrání by byla vhodná, viz vzorek pro kalendář 2023. Edit: po delší době dopíjím vzorek a ten závěr to fakt kazí. Jinak by to byl ucházející rum.

Intéressant mais très complexe. Ce rhum à été vieilli pendant 3 ans dans 5 fûts différents. Vin de madère, whisky, brandy, vin du Portugal et pour finir d’Espagne. On a peu d’info la dessus. Dommage qu’il y aie tant de mélange, il aurait pu être plus intéressant.

Dieser Rum ist insgesamt an Nase und Gaumen sehr alkoholisch für swine 45%. An der Nase aber auch noch angenehme Honig artige süße dabei. Am Gaumen dann sehr trocken, herb und pflanzlich. Nicht mein Ding. Und wieso der jetzt in 5 verschiedenen Fässern gereift wurde ist ein Rätsel

In der Nase empfinde ich ein einzelnes störenderes Aroma, am Gaumen verbreitet er sich schnell und sehr alkoholisch, der Abgang lässt mich unbeeindruckt.

Very ripe fruit on the nose, with a hint of woodiness and an unpleasant (for my taste) dry, huffy side. On the palate it's not great either, same structure as the nose with alcohol not very well integrated. The length is short to medium, with a touch of brine and olive.

No, no, no. It tastes worse than it smells. The only substance that I can smell, and this is overriding every other tones I can sense, is a crushed penicilin pill. Taste is rather harsh with earthy/vegetal tones supported by chemical synthetic taste that leaves a chalky feeling on the tongue. Only mild sweetness (but it is there). However, I am not a fan. The biggest plus is for the length of finish which is really long. Too bad for me because I don't like the taste of this rum. God that chalky feeling on the tongue is weird.

"This Rum is too young for it's own good. On top of that it had this acidic quality that a lot of not well-balanced fermentation yeasts produces. They clearly are good technical. But still they fail to produce something enjoyable here."
