One taster went in with low expectations and came out pleasantly surprised — that's the mood here. Fresh cane, citrus that leans toward lemon and mandarin, a floral honey note and pepper underneath. At 59% the alcohol is loud and gives it real "peps," though a couple of members wish it were better integrated. The finish runs short. Drinks almost like a ready-made Ti Punch.

#5538 08.08.2025 Relaxing with a few samples and celebrating that it's finally Friday again. Nose Light wood, fresh, faint honey, citrus, light floral, vegetal, sugarcane, spice. Palate Light oily, light wood, fresh, naturally sweet, citrus, medium spicy, light honey, vegetal, sugarcane. Finish Medium long, naturally sweet, sugarcane, light wood, spice, citrus. Empty glass Citrus, light floral, light honey, vegetal.

Blind buy at a small dealer in Lyon. Allegedly shipped to Europe by sailing ship. On the nose still a bit reserved, classic young Agricole. On the palate a bit fuller, grassy and spicy profile. The alcohol could be a bit better integrated. (Oct 25)

Nose: Sweet, viscous honey; floral, grass, sugarcane. Palate: like the nose, a bit of lime, almost like a Ti Punch, not insanely complex but good, alcohol pleasant despite almost 60%.

Very nice discovery, I had little expectation and I am very pleasantly surprised. Enticing nose even if not very enveloping. Very fresh with citrus notes, almost yuzu lemon. Quite a strong attack, the alcohol is very present, I find it gives pep always on a background of acidity. A bit of spice on a pepper background. Short finish, a bit of a pity but still a very nice experience.
