Peated-whisky drinkers and cigar lovers are the natural audience here. The Boulet de Canon smoke finish pushes hard: ash, pipe tobacco, charred wood and campfire, with only a thin trace of caramel underneath. One member nailed it as liquid pipe tobacco. Reactions split hard, though — the smoke is so dominant that several tasters said the rum itself mostly disappears.

Noten von Asche, Tabak, Lagerfeuer und Stroh noch Kräuter wie Thymian, Rosmarin und Oregano sowie süßes Karamell.

Flüssiger Pfeifentabak! Besser kann man es nicht auf den Punkt bringen. Definitiv nochmal ein ganz anderes "Rauch-Profil" wie die anderen bisherigen der Boulet de Canon Serie. Nicht zu rauchig, nicht zu sehr an Whisky erinnernd stattdessen wirklich eine überraschend angenehme Note nach mildem Pfeifentabak. Vom Rum bleibt nicht mehr viel übrig, dennoch ein weiteres spannendes Projekt von CDI und vor allem weniger "aggressiv" wie bisherige finishes der Serie!

Végétal au nez et fumé, il est très intéressant en pairing mais le rhum de base mériterait d’avoir plus de corps et de de texture pour que l’équilibre soit véritablement présent.

Další velmi intenzivní kouřovka. Kontrola. Nenalí jsem si to omylem do popelníku? Nenalíl. No tak jo. Opět plnej nos udírny, slanina, uzený, kouř a whisly. V chutit totéž ale opět je mi to spíš protivný. Nízké abv, krátký závěr.
