Cognac cask no19, limited. Excellent and deep. On leather, wood, very candied fruit. One of the best in my collection, unfortunately impossible to find. Edit: Coming back after several years and hundreds of other tastings. It remains among my favorites, I have a strong impression. Magnificent mahogany color, very fruity nose, candied pear. Extremely indulgent and soft mouth in the same tones, with old wood and indulgent leather, a great empyreumatic depth. A good length where the alcohol appears for the first time, candied leather and wood. The bottle, already transferred to a small flask, is almost finished, about 10cl left. The goodbyes will be tough....

La Route des Rhums Advent Calendar 2022 No. 6. This time a La Favorite. Really a good one for an ABV of 43%. Nose mostly woody, slight hints of chocolate recognizable. On the palate also, a slight leathery note is added.
