8,4:On the nose, the first impression we get is fruity with green apple and some menthol, as we continue with caramel and bourbon yellow fruits, still mixed with solvents and some petrol. The air brightens with waxy sugar cane juice, ripe banana and rubber, tobacco, as it becomes darker, roasted with some smoke and candied fruits, chocolate, marzipan or almond. There is little spiciness when well rested and floral notes, as it is nicely rounded. 8,5:On the palate, the attack is fruity and briny with yellow and dried fruits, becomes a bit smoky and chocolaty, then spicy. The sugar cane is tasty, a bit mineral and waxy, as ripe banana joins. The wood comes noticeable and tannic. Rest brings out a green apple and menthol, then mint and some tobacco, as the rhum is dry now. After a while, the palate goes into the red fruits, as currants and roasted notes with pastries. Very tasty. 8,3:The finish is long, woody with tannins, menthol, dry, the sugar cane is still juicy and a bit mineral, fruity with yellow fruits We get some chocolate, pastries and tobacco with little smoke. There is some brine left.

A wealth of dark chocolate, dried figs, orange and violets spills out of the glass. The alcohol is extremely well integrated and slowly releases notes of star anise, marzipan, apricot, fig and tobacco

I like it, it's another difficult to recognize nose. For much you have menthol, alcohol and solvent here. The alcohol then disappears somewhat on the palate, as the rum comes across as watered down. Otherwise, menthol again.

Insgesamt wenig Tiefe. Gibt halt deutlich Besseres von denen.
Review by Rumpalumpa

Good sipper... more unfortunately not .

Alkohol gut eingebunden. Sample reicht.

OK but not particularly outstanding. Seems a bit thin in the finish... Alcohol is also not particularly well integrated...
