Superb. Notes of apple, pear. Tends a little towards Calvados. Perfectly integrated alcohol. A very fine 9/10 for unbeatable value for money.

A lovely, well-crafted Depaz. The nose is very fruity (exotic fruit, dried fruit and citrus), combining well with the sweetness of spices, delicate toasted notes, the finesse of wood and the freshness of sugarcane. On the palate, the attack is a little drier and firmer, with notes of agricultural greenery, dried fruit, warmer spices and a touch of cocoa on the wood. The finish, of good length, is even warmer and drier, with a certain bitterness. The fruity, woody and spicy notes are released and give a lovely roundness. A very fine Depaz, sophisticated, elegant, colorful and available at a very reasonable price.

Too bad it was diluted!

This rum reminds me a lot of Saint James' Ephemeral 1, diluted. Which is a very good thing. I prefer it to the recently released bruts de fût, which I find too woody for my taste, and it has great length on the palate.

MasterClass Saint James VS Depaz with Morgane. Red barrels + cognac = exotic fruits and a beautiful sucrosite? Superb! Small orange, strong woodiness but without going too far. A great rum that I could definitely buy!

A promising nose that is confirmed on the palate, it's fruity, balanced in alcohol...the finish is of citrus fruits, honey...and leaves its mark on the palate long after the last drop...

The best RQP of the moment. Exotic, long and the reduction is well done.

Aged in bourbon and cognac casks, Depaz Les Millésimes 2010 brings abright and vibrant floral nose with fresh fruits, maube even strawberries, then some cinnamon and creamy caramel. The palate has some honey, black pepper, and a delicate balance of sweet fruit and light acidity. The finish is fresh with grassy notes, young pineapple, and a hint of sweet pastry and dried herbs. This is impressive rum with complexity and balance, perfect for those who enjoy the interplay between fruity sweetness and light spice.

I love this nose, which has everything you'd expect from an agricole. Citrus fruit, wood that doesn't overwhelm, dried fruit and spices. The attack on the palate is quite lively, with more wood than on the nose, slightly spicy spices, tropical fruit and ripe cane. The finish is rather short, which is a pity. Slight bitterness. All in all, a nice rum, especially for its price. Perhaps a little too reduced for my taste. Still, excellent value for money.

25.9.2024 online tasting DEPAZ 12YO American oak 10.5 bourbon, finally French oak 1.5 konak Almost gone I can smell almost nothing in the wine. the taste is fine, but I can feel a little bit of the woodiness of the cane, the taste is long and the variety comes later
