"Sweeter FSQ. I like this," sums up the camp that enjoys it. This is a classic 15-year Foursquare single cask: coconut, vanilla, caramel and dried fruit, with chocolate and spice on a long finish. At 60.4% the alcohol is mostly well knit, though a couple of tasters found it hot and a touch too sweet. Familiar Barbados profile done well.

Most helpful positive review
A typical Foursquare with dominant vanilla, coconut and caramel aromas. It still scores a few points thanks to the red fruitiness that keeps flashing up on the palate. Very tasty, but doesn't really stand out from other Foursquare.

Tasted together with RX12304 and RX18937. With a similar ABV, the strongest and edgiest with a typical Foursquare profile. Compared to the others, the alcohol is the least well integrated. 3rd place

#5630 05.09.2025 Enjoying some sample after work getting ready for the weekend of tastings. Nose Fresh, light wood, fruity, light coconut, raisin, faint citrus, light caramel. Palate Oily, light wood, light roasted, light coconut, light chocolate, light caramel, spice, faint cinnamon, dried fruit. Finish Long, wood, dried fruit, light caramel, light chocolate, faint cherry. Empty glass Vanilla, chocolate, light caramel. There is a nice natural sweetness to the profile and the ABV is pretty well integrated. Needs to rest for a while to really open up properly.

What more can you say about a Foursquare bottling. Even if I repeat myself, as usually 95% of high quality, with the typical coconut aroma, just as expected. Very good, but doesn't stand out from the others.

And the next good Foursquare. Really decent rums, alcohol at least well integrated here. Otherwise quite fruity, especially coconut, but also slightly sweet thanks to vanilla, caramel and chocolate. Hopefully the next rum won't be so sweet.

Rum Friendly Club Advent Calendar Day 6. A typical Foursquare nose, coconut, dried fruits and vanilla caramel. But here, more spicy and peppery than usual. The entry on the palate is beautiful, coconut and vanilla then an acetone and varnish side with a fairly present alcohol makes this rum interesting and a bit unbalanced. The finish is long but not quite satisfying. A rum with character but lacking harmony.

For me a classic, but very good Foursquare. It has everything you would expect. Coconut, spices, dried fruit and a pleasant sweetness. Alcohol very well integrated. I like it very much.

Very fruity on the nose with some wood and caramel. There is little "floral" on the palate; however, the taste is convincing with different spices, caramel and a light barrel note. The finish is similar and really long-lasting. The alcohol is quite dominant due to its strength, but I personally like this strength. The rum would certainly have developed even more positively with longer storage.

Foursquare is a distillery from Barbados producing amazing rums for everyday sipping. It's a rum especially appreciated by rum lovers who are fed up with sugar and looking for a gentle, sweet rum full of coconut, vanilla, chocolate, and caramel. Simply pleasant and not aggressive flavors.

A nice aroma combining cinnamon, vanilla, dates and coconut. Taste-wise it's the classic from FS that we've had here many times, but it's a very well-chosen cask. Balanced components, everything fits. Nicely moderate finish, slightly tannic. You can tell it's matured.

Second bottle allready , first tastings , not a fan. Quit normal all day rum with to much caramel , could even drink it with coke 🙄, but afther half a bottle i must say it’s different… i discovered this is more then bitter caramel , to good for with coke , but still😖🤣, its a very drinkable rum , very high abv but still a very good all day rum , i can enjoy this one every day the bitterness is pleasant the alcohol is just wright , it misses dept and a finisch , that s a bit a pitty

For me disappointment...in the vein slightly in the background you can feel FQ but very subtly and I am performing mainly alcohol. Alcohol is not well integrated and strong (I was liquified) in the taste is again slightly noticeable FQ, chocolate etc. The sample was enough for me

Again quite dry, woody and cocoa foursquare with a subtle hint of oiliness. This fades quickly though and what remains is a long dry finish. Foursquare probably doesn't surprise me anymore, but this is one of the better ones I've had.

Very sweet classic Foursquare. Almost too sweet even a bit sticky. Caramel, coconut, vanilla some wood. Start to finish same profile. Very long finish. Can't understand this price tag.

Very fruity, cherry, orange and dried fruits, alcohol is very well integrated and flavor lasts very long on the finish with cocoa, coconut, tobacco, spicy cinnamon, cloves, vanilla and caramel, very pleasant sweetness, slightly woody, enjoyable.
