Shop visit Rum Paradise Hamburg December 2025. The last Dane and at the same time the best. It's definitely very spicy, we also have a bit of coffee and orange peel, but also strong, you can still feel it in your throat for minutes after drinking :)

#6414 01.03.2026 Relaxing with a few Danish rums after a nice weekend in Steinhorst with a few of the RumX guys. This is one of the better releases. I like when the ABV is a bit higher because it usually fits the flavours. Balanced wood with sweet fruits and light honey.

Definitely unfair, but this "Danish-Riise-Style" is not for me. A lot of sweetness, lots of spice like orange and anise, and the rum flavor gets strangled. For tourists, maybe a beautiful souvenir, since the bottles are offered in basically every shop. The sobering reality comes as always with souvenirs when tasting at home. Not great

Hey the nose is still okay but too much menthol on the palate. Yeah, it's drinkable but not really for me.

Tasty story. As I found out, typical for Fanø relatively flat on the nose. You notice the sweetness and spices. But very roundly balanced. The alcohol is also smoothly integrated. I'll probably put a bottle of this in my bar.
