Dark chocolate, apricot jam and a well-judged dose of oak — surprisingly deep for something distilled in 2015. Several tasters can't get over how mature it drinks for its age, with vanilla, ginger spice, hazelnut and fresh fruit rounding it out. It's a single-cask Neisson agricole at cask strength, but the grassy side is gentler than most, and the alcohol stays tucked in.

Very restrained nose, yellow fruit, somewhat nutty. Very subtle cask/wood. Quickly fading alcoholic sharpness on the palate. More intense fruit and spiciness, increasingly sugarcane and light vegetal notes. Long, velvety finish with agricole in the foreground, moisture lingers lightly.

Great Neisson. Balanced sweetness of cocoa and vanilla, plus fine spiciness, fresh fruits, and green-grassy notes. Balanced, round, easy to drink. Impressive level for its young age.

Incredibly smooth agricole single cask! A very nice combo of sharp ginger, dark chocolate, apricot jam, and just the right amount of wood. Really, really delicious and rightly such a high rating for such a young age! ❤️🤤🙏

Considering the age and price tag I think you get a lot for your money. A delicious and well rounded rum with lots of fruits and nice caramel. Draws amazing curtains in the glass. The empty glass is really nice and I can pick up some light nougat and chocolate notes.

This is a really great bottling from Neisson! Young, balanced, delicious and powerfull😎🤤 I thought this spent much more time in the barrel due to those dominat barrel notes.

Powerful rum with a pronounced hazelnut note that gives the profile amazing depth despite its young age. Accompanied by fine roasted and fruity aromas, vanilla, chocolate, and a well-integrated wood spice. Complex, dense, and harmonious.

I’m not the biggest Agricole fan. But this one is definitely one of the better ones. Rounded and good to drink, alcohol well integrated. Pleasant sweetness and apricot. Wood well integrated and not unpleasantly dominant. Not as grassy as many Agricoles. An absolute Agricole recommendation for me.
