Mijn vriendin kwam thuis met deze fles en ik was geprikkeld door het uitzicht van de fles: biologische rum van Belgische makelij. In de neus komt duidelijk cacao naar voren terwijl dat minder prominent is in het smaakstoffen. De rum is zoet (ik vermoed dat er suikers aan zijn toegevoegd, maar vind deze informatie nergens terug). Het proeft naar violetjes (zoals de jenever of Gentse neuzen) en in dat opzicht doet het wat raar aan om rum te zijn aangezien het de eerste keer is dat ik zoiets waarneem. In de afdronk blijft het zoete van de viooltjes een beetje hangen.

This rum was a nice surprise and it was filtrate using cocoa nibs! A complex yet well rounded easy sipping rum that I can recommend. An organic rum from Belgium and I hope to see more from them in the future.
