This rum stands alone for its uniqueness of taste and extreme smoothness. Distinguished for its aromatic richness, for real connoisseurs, authentic and uncompromising. On the nose cloves, cinnamon, vanilla followed by a furniture varnish that evokes a library. On the palate sweet and wood forward. Vegetal notes have definitely taken a step back to wood. Wood spice bringing richer vanilla , butterscotch, burnt honey and a touch of milk chocolate. The finish is long extended even with red pepper flake. Vanilla and coffee linger too. Supple spices , cloves, crème caramel with a long smooth and clean finish. A truly exceptional sipping rum.
