My RumRatings review from 6 years ago: The rum shows fruity notes on the nose and is equipped with a mild sweetness. Barrel and wood notes are recognizable. On the palate, the rum can really be described as dry. Light sweetness with fruit of berries and plum can be tasted. At the same time, clear woody barrel notes expand on the tongue and accompany the finish. Some vanilla and caramel resonate. The finish is long and the barrel notes remain for a long time. The Artesano Amarone Cask is a dry rum with a fruity, lightly sweet note. It is multifaceted and has a lot to offer. At the same time, it is also easy to drink and invites you to pour another glass. Rum at drinking strength as you wish.
