A really nice release with a really good balance in the profile. Fruity with light wood and a nice floral touch.

Quite typical nose, on wood, cane, vanilla. The first sip is strong. A lot of alcohol despite only 47°. Not much room for the rest, except what we had on the nose. It is after good airing that this rum reveals itself! An oaky agricole, with tropical fruit (mango?), caramel, vanilla. It’s much more pleasant than at the first sip even if there remains a slight bitterness not great at the end of the mouth. Nice.

Very nice agricole blend! Banana in the foreground, some honey and in the finish a nice chamomile tea note that I really like. Not too much wood but also not too little. Alcohol well chosen and integrated.

On the nose it is woody, spicy, with ripe red fruits (plums, strawberries, morello cherries), tobacco and a fine sweet note. On the palate it reflects all the scents perceived on the nose where spices and slightly unripe fruits dominate, the wood takes a back seat. The finish is medium and spicy (a bit too much). In the empty glass, noble wood. The rating ranges between 8.4 and 8.6.
