Despite the relative low ABV this is a very nice and well balanced rum with lots of flavour. Fruity with light wood and nuts and some caramel on the palate. The palate is oily and I really like the nutty note. In the empty glass i can pick up light licorice and chocolate.

Dried fruit, wood and spices on the nose. On the palate, hazelnut predominates, with licorice, chocolate and wood... Too sage and licorice-like for my taste. The palate is clearly below the nose. Not really my thing!

Honeyed nose: woody/spicy/vanilla/dried fruit/butterscotch. The nose is well-balanced and fresh. On the palate, the attack is smooth and velvety. Licorice, woody notes, chocolate hazelnut, crème caramel and citrus fruits are on the menu. Long finish: woody-spicy-toasty Conclusions: this is a fine product, clearly in the upper echelons of old agricultural wines. It is a worthy representative of Martinique's terroir, with its masterful balance.

A very fine, round rum. Good length and grip despite the reduction. Very greedy.

Very easy to drink. Remarkably balanced, it's very round, honeyed with a nice silky texture. The length is decent for a rum at 45%. Hazelnut, vanilla, coffee, very indulgent. Maybe a bit lacking in fruit but it's very good.

Nose: super woody, fresh, herbal, orange, Palate: very silky, melted wood, caramel notes, mild spice, slight bitterness, raisins, sweet finish lasting on spices and tobacco, also flowers 2nd 89 N hazelnut mix dried fruits raisins cashew fine orange zest mandarin after eight nice agricultural wood B incredible hazelnut explosion peanut butter. Would deserve a few degrees more. Glug-glug

Interesting but not quite integrated nose. Chocolate and wood in the mouth. A bit of hot burn so not as smooth as other Rhums but pleasant medium length finish. Cognac undertones and a bit of agricole flavour in the nose. Drinks strong for the ABV as well. It’s perfectly fine but not a standout
