The Liquor Company Cuate Anejo Gran Reserva
Despite the "Gran Reserva" label, this is a soft, sweet Barbados pot-still rum that leans dessert more than depth. Expect chocolate, caramel, vanilla and a clear coconut note, with a warm but short finish. Several tasters call it round and easy; a few find it one-note and, as one put it, just too sweet. One member even turned it into a daily sipper.

How does The Liquor Company Cuate Anejo Gran Reserva taste?
Aggregated from 31 community reviews.
Sweet, mild chocolate-caramel everyday sipper Most find it mild, round and genuinely likeable, if not complex — chocolate, caramel and coconut up front. The recurring catch: it drinks sweet and simple, and the finish fades fast.

Review by Serge
An acquaintance pulled a bottle out of the cupboard "I might have a rum you don't know yet" I read Ron and immediately braced myself for the worst. But it seems to be from Barbados. Well ... I don't have to have it neat, but according to the bottle owner it's good in tea. Somewhat strong alcoholic note after a bad column profile. Somewhat sweet with nuts, coconut, caramel, vanilla etc.

Ganz in Ordnung
