Hatte leider mehr erwartet von diesem Beenleigh. Ist trotzdem recht würzig, auf jeden Fall lässt sich Schokolade hier erkennen, eine leichte Süße haben wir hier und einen leichten Kaffeegeschmack gibt es hier.

Bräunliche Farbe wie älterer Tawny Port. Zurückhaltende Nase. Rosinen, leichte Süsse, dunkel würzig und etwas muffig. Am Gaumen würzig-süss. Hier merkt man deutlich die PX-Lagerung. Dazu Holz-Noten. Der ABV ist sehr gut eingebunden. Es geht über in einen Mittel-langen Abgang der vor allem wieder diese Süss-Würzige Noten liefert. Die Süsse dabei etwas klebrig. Etwas für Liebhaber von kräftigen PX- Einflüssen. Für mich zu weit weg vom erwarteten Beenleigh-Profil.

Schon lange Zeit wollte diese Rum probieren, vielleicht meine Erwartungen war zu hoch. Nasse ist schön leicht, Schokolade, Karamell, getrocknete feige, Rosinen, bißchen Vanille und Kaffee und süß. Am Gaumen aber richtig scharf warm Alkohol sollte sein besser integriert, sonst süß, ölige Konsistenz, Schokolade, Karamell und Holz. Bißchen Klebstoff und Lack. Abgang ist nicht so lang aber sehr warm.
