Also a great rum from the La Route des Rhums advent calendar. On the nose mainly woody and spicy, some vanilla is also noticeable. On the palate also woody and spicy with a hint of mocha ;-)

Advent 2022. Superb nose, palate a bit disappointing. Nose 8.5: candied fruits, bitter orange, nutmeg. Palate 6.8: alcohol present, syrupy, caramel, wood, then unfortunately a bit bitter. Very good length. So mixed average.

Nice discovery in an advent calendar. Very fruity rum, on candied fruits, vanilla, and spices. Beautiful aromatic richness and interesting long finish.
